Idk. I hv watched her for a very looooong time now. And pretty much, I’ve seen Rachelle morph into this OVERKILL of too much looking at the outside world of life vs her own self search engine for an explanation of who she is, in her own life’s existence(Think about that for a minute). It seems, when you start to INTERNALIZE life, trying to SEE and DIG into it too deeply…you lose perspective of the simple reality of life and presence that one is suppose to just, LIVE IN IT!. It is real easy to lose yourself when looking for all the intricacies of life that are unexplainable, yet relative. God told us, “I AM TOO MUCH for you to BEHOLD. My thoughts are too high for you to comprehend”. We see this same behavior manifesting in Lauren Hill as well. In my humble opinion, A Human’s only task on earth, in life, should be adhering to: “I give you Life and I give it to you more abundantly!”. There simply are NO TRICKS and GIMMICKS to LIFE!. Live and let Die.

The interviewer, Mr. Taylor was not nerrvous, he was passionate. I don't know if he and Mr. Cobb knew each other beforehand, but I think the fraternal bonding that goes on between them in this interview is beautiful to watch.

I love her. Thank you so much for doing this. Everything I discover on her is a new gem, From a Bernie Mac funeral to Showtime at the Apollo. I was a kid and saw her on the Apollo, hosted by Sinbad! 1993? 94? lol. Never seen that crowd soooo happy. Except for a FEW artists, I have not seen the audience jumping and screaming and clapping like for Rachelle! Although, fellow whistle register-vocalist Mariah Carey, when she was 20 years old, is one example… singing ”Vision of love”! Nervous and new to things, but damn that audience loved her… Mariah has also gone on to cite Rachelle as a major influence. Question. I know this was filmed eight years ago.. and I mean no offense to either Mr Kevin E Taylor or guest Ms Ferrell when I ask this... I highly doubt it’s auto tuned, but is something up with the sound, or is there echoing in the room? Maybe it’s my tablet. Lol. I know Rachelle can do a lot with her voice, including scat singing and sounding like brass instruments, but I don’t know if “living breathing auto tune machine” is one. It’s not that bad, I just seem to have a weird connection right now. Rachelles voice just sounds duplicated, or even quadrupled, like layered when she sings. And I know she can do something similar, and even Mariah does this with her vocal nodes. But what I’m hearing isn’t from her actual voice, I don’t think. It’s probably my old ass tablet!! Damn! 😒😭 Oh well I loved this regardless. Rachelle- one day I will meet you and play music, I play violin in many styles including jazz. And vocals. ♥
